Todays Jump Set

Hey All,

Today i though it would be a good idea to hit the jump with a gusting tail wind, it's always good to practice it the average conditions. It was all going well and on my last one i though i would take it late and have a dig. My turn was really nice turned from a wide spot with a lot of speed, but when i hit the first wake i got pulled up and got way to close to the right hand corner. All that was going though my head was " Just ride it over don't kick it".
off the top of the ramp both of my ski tips went down. i really though i was gone but right before i was about to role ( to land on my back instead of my face) my tips started to come back up and only just before landing i was safe.
The adrenaline was pumping. I don't know how i pulled it off.
So was a fun jump set. hopefully that don't happen again any time soon.
update you all again soon.

Hey Guys

Havn't hit the water for a little over a week now as i have not been so well. Lost 5kg in 5 days but feeling good now..
Had my first set back on the water today. tryed out a speed suit for thw first time. it didnt feel that much different but was good to try.
Started the set with a easy single cut to get the feeling back and then hit some double cuts.
Was a really good set. my last one i was right on the right hand corner which is a great feeling but didnt quite get off it.

Pumped to be back on it. only 5 weeks until worlds now so the count down begins.
Catch yo later..

Night Jump

Hi all

The London Night jump (held on bank holiday) was a great event. With a range of differnt EXTREME sports from the wakeboarding, Free style MotoX, the Mountain bike tour and ofcorse the Hype of the event the Water ski jumping.

It has to be on the the biggest competitions i have ever entered, so i have to say i was very nervous on the dock. I didnt know what to expect from the 6LTR 400 HP Mastercraft after skiing behind the 5.7LTR 340HP Nautique.
The first jump was an easier one to 'feel it out'. It was a strong pull, so my timing was out a bit.
Round one my biggest jump was 47meters, round two i had found a slightly better spot to cut from jumping 48.6.
My goal for the event was to hit the 50 meter mark. although that didnt happen im happy with the results.

thanks guys will kepp you all up to date with my training in the next week or so.
